SProLinux has been a leader in providing Unix and Linux solutions to customers all over the globe since it's inception in 2000.
SProLinux started out providing a way for customers to leverage the cost of their servers by loading Linux on customer sites and displayed how the Peachtree accounting package, E-mail, Web Pages, and File/Print sharing could be served up to a number of clients over the network for a nominal price. Some of these servers have run for over 10 straight years without a minute of downtime.
SProLinux formed a partnership with Novell corporation in 2003 after they bought SuSE Linux and were committed to moving Linux into the Enterprise.
SProlinux became one of Novell's top Linux solution providers right out of the gate. SProLinux started migrating many schools, municipalities, and corporations from Windows NT to Netware 6.5 and Novell OES on Linux.
SProLinux completed one of the biggest Linux migration projects in the country at a fortune 100 company. The project entailed migrating the entire Mfg/Pro ERP Application Cluster from a large number of HP-UX Servers to SuSE Linux Enterprise on 64bit EM64T technology. This quickly became the bench mark for others to follow.
